Position Overview:
StudentBridge is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Marketing to lead our marketing team and drive our mission forward. We are looking for a marketing visionary who not only understands the power of video but is also passionate about transforming the higher education industry through interactive and immersive digital experiences. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that position StudentBridge as a leader in the industry and help our clients attract and retain students effectively.
Position Evolution:
In the early days, StudentBridge is looking for someone to come in and “run the play”. We believe in the power of video and we have invested heavily into the science-based methodology of Neuromarketing – specifically the SalesBrain program as written by Dr. Morin. We don’t want someone to come in and suggest a lot of changes off the bat. We are looking for someone that will be patient, come in and learn the business, learn the market. Over time, the plan will become your plan, but we want to celebrate some early victories first.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the marketing department to support StudentBridge's mission and growth objectives
- Develop and present the Marketing Plan including Campaign Calendar and Matrix: Maintain calendar of all demand generation campaigns/programs, tactics, budgets, and metrics to optimize awareness and lead generation efforts
- Market Research: Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Use this knowledge to drive marketing strategy
- Brand Development (archetype): Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity for StudentBridge, ensuring it resonates with higher education institutions and students alike
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling and engaging content, a video-first approach including webinars, podcasts, blog posts, and more, to position StudentBridge as an industry thought leader
- Digital Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to generate leads and build awareness
- Lead Generation: Develop lead generation campaign/program strategy, objectives, goals, metrics, and define best practices, standards, and processes to drive successful customer acquisition and current customer upsell opportunities
- Data Analytics: Use data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Ensure optimization of marketing automation best practices to attract and guide qualified leads through the sales process. Extensive marketing automation platform and HubSpot experience required
- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with higher education institutions, industry partners, and key stakeholders
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, with a focus on digital marketing and video content
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies
- A passion for staying at the forefront of marketing trends and technologies
- Meaningful experience with HubSpot or alternative CRM/Marketing Automation

Business Development Representative
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing
Do you have a passion for sales? Do you love new technology? This may be the role for you! As our Business Development Representative (BDR), you will generate new sales leads for our growing SaaS company. Core responsibilities include prospecting, relationship development, and appointment setting. Our ideal candidate enjoys outbound prospecting in a competitive market. Most importantly, they understand the specific challenges facing prospects and customers while actively solving them.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate leads in support of our sales/revenue goals
- Qualify meetings, set appointments, and update records for the Account Executive Team
- Maintain a solid knowledge of StudentBridge's evolving technology solutions
- Research key decision-makers for outreach within assigned territory
- Execute prospecting methods including email, social media, and cold calls
Minimum Qualifications
- Self-starter that works well in teams and synergetic environments
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- An aptitude for research and analysis
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite or Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS sales is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g. Hubspot)
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related degree; a background in Customer Service may be accepted in lieu of a four-year degree
