The partnership leverages NameCoach’s library of name pronunciations for Full Measure’s 200+ graduation ceremonies

(JAN 28th, 2021) - Full Measure Education, a leader in higher education technology that uses mobile-first experiences to support and celebrate students, today announced a partnership with NameCoach, a Palo Alto-based technology company that champions and supports accurate name pronunciation.
Full Measure’s Graduation Celebration Experience enables colleges, universities, and high schools to honor their students at commencement - in person and virtually - with shareable social media filters, videos, and ceremonies where each graduate is recognized. When many institutions were forced to implement a virtual ceremony last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Full Measure provided a tool to celebrate the class of 2020 with appropriate pomp and circumstance.
A partnership with NameCoach ensures that this moment for each graduate is special. With a mission to solve the common problem of name mispronunciation and gender pronoun communication in as many critical settings as possible, NameCoach provides software for users to record and playback name pronunciation, provide professional name pronunciation for virtual events, and access the world’s largest and most accurate name pronunciation database.
It was at a commencement ceremony that NameCoach CEO Praveen Shanbhag first saw the need to create a solution to name mispronunciation:
