VisiTOUR (formerly CVE) 2.0 vs. 1.0

VisiTOUR 2.0 will introduce tour building into the [schoolname].lets-connect.io platform, the same place where communications are sent. Let's review the major differences between the 2 platforms. 

Overall Goals: 

• You'll be able to build tours in the same place you create content and launch messaging campaigns
• More intuitive flow to create tours
  • You'll still have the option to create curated tour or personalized tour, but have a more understandable Content Management System (CMS)
• Less clicking and overall cleaner user experience

Preview/Publishing Flow

• You'll be able to preview and publish tours entirely on your own
• Easy to see and control what tours are published and which ones are in draft
• Overview of what will be published to have better understanding of what is included in the tour

Settings

• Adding the colors will be significantly easier - you can either select a color from a color picker or add in a Hex value
• Images (homepage image, conclusion image, logo) will be viewable
• Removing illustrations

Locations

• Enter in address into a map instead of needing to figure out the latitude/longitude
• Clear which image will be the feature image
• Emoji selector (as opposed to current keyboard shortcuts)
• Easily add tags
• For multicampus institutions, separate out locations by campus

Videos

• Easier to switch between videos and testimonials
• Will show thumbnail for videos and testimonials

Personalized Tours

• Have their own section
• You can create Categories for tags (still only for the Academics question)
• Will have the top 25 tags auto-filled on institution creation
